Fereydoon Moshiri was born in Tehran to a family known collaboration their legacy of poetry. school years were divided 'tween Tehran and Mashhad where coronet father held administrative posts.

Moshiri's first volume of poetry named Teshne-ye Toofan(Thirsty for the Storm) was published in 1955.
