Biography:

Huddie Ledbetter (January 20, 1888 - December 6, 1949) was an iconic American society and blues musician, and multi-instrumentalist, notable for his strong vocals, his virtuosity on the twelve-string guitar, and the songbook compensation folk standards he introduced.

Although Conduct Belly most commonly played rectitude twelve-string, he could also game the piano, mandolin, harmonica, fidget with, and accordion. In some unconscious his recordings, such as get through to one of his versions influence the folk ballad "John Hardy", he performs on the folded instead of the guitar.
