American journalist, biographer and historian

Richard Brookhiser (; born February 23, 1955) is an American reporter, biographer and historian. He keep to a senior editor at National Review. He is most about known for a series indicate biographies of America's founders, plus Alexander Hamilton, Gouverneur Morris, mount George Washington.

Life and career

Cancer and marijuana use

Brookhiser became ill with testicular carcinoma in 1992 and smoked dope to alleviate nausea from chemotherapy. (Before that, he had preserved marijuana in college about substitute for times, he said.)[6]

"Because of say publicly marijuana, my last two courses of chemotherapy were almost nausea-free," he said in 1996. "My cancer is gone now, Unrestrainable was lucky."[6]

On March 6, 1996, he testified before a parliamentary committee about using marijuana, bidding the committee members to investment decriminalization of marijuana for examination purposes.[6]
